It is possible to carry out a variety of analytical tests with our equipment.
GD-OES Profiler type 2 (with radio-frequency plasma excitation) spectrometer
works in our Institute as an unique facility in Hungary. It is possible to
simultaneously analyze 41 chemical elements with the machine from bulk, layer
and profile setups, too.
We had several projects to investigate solar panels, coated glass panels, and
also analyzed different metal coatings. We can not only receive information on
the thickness of the layer, but on the compositional changes as a function of
depth, too.
The furnace operation is supported by two LECO apparatus, one for carbon and
sulfur analysis (no. CS-244) and an other for oxygen and nitrogen measurements
(no. TC-500).
If you would like to analyze aquous solutions, our institute can serve your
needs with a Varian atomic absorption spectrophotometer and a Shimadzou UV-VIS
spectrophotometer.
