Our institute has a very vivid history in the field of education, but on the other hand it has got a plenty of unique connections and partners in the industry, due to the fact of being a special kind of R&D centre. In the past our professors were requested several times to solve various types of industrial problems for big mills (Steel industry, Aluminium industry, etc.) and also for the foundries.

Nowadays we are participating in big scientific research projects (founded by the Europian Union), but on the other hand we are also making smaller tasks for the request of our industrial partners.
