The furnace park of the Institute covers a wide range of melting capacity. A few gram quantities up to 100 kg batches can be treated. We can work in numerous temperature ranges precisely with Various designs of resistance-heated furnaces. Medium frequency induction furnaces have 100-50-25 kg input capacities with replecable linings. Our Leybold-Heraeus vacuum induction furnace was renewed in 2012, and a modern vacuum-system was installed, too. We can serve for even your very special needs.

In 2014, a new type vacuum induction furnace was installed. It is able to work up to 2000 °C under Ar atmosphere, moreover we can cast with that under increased pressure.
